Right now I'm the Chief of Staff at Mudita Studios, a venture studio in New York that launches and scales tech-forward companies. I bridge strategy and execution across the portfolio. GTM coordination, investor materials, stakeholder reporting, operational infrastructure, whatever the week calls for.
On the side (though most weeks it doesn't feel like a side) I'm the co-founder and Head of Marketing at Mockingbiird., a small studio I've been running since 2019. Mostly for nonprofits, political orgs, and early-stage startups that need real help from real people.
The path here wasn't straight. I've been the Digital Marketing Lead for Lufthansa, the Digital Comms Manager at American Promise, the Director of Communications at the Maryland Forward Party, the Director of Digital Marketing at a hospitality group in Cleveland, and the Head of Marketing at a blockchain startup in Miami. Different industries, very different rooms. Same job underneath, which is figuring out what matters and then making it actually happen.
I grew up in Medina, Ohio. I live with a cat named Beanz (see also: the ASCII cat at the bottom of every page). I do my best thinking after 11 p.m., which I swear isn't a bit. And I work this way on purpose, so the rest of life has room to exist.
Scroll through the resume timeline. Any overlap in roles was done transparently, and above board.
Venture studio launching and scaling tech-forward portfolio companies. I bridge strategy and execution across the portfolio. Own GTM coordination, investor materials, and stakeholder reporting. Build the repeatable operational infrastructure the portfolio companies run on.
Co-founded a small marketing studio focused on nonprofits, political organizations, and early-stage startups. Strategic marketing and communications for teams that don't have (and don't need) a full in-house function. Everything from brand and voice to launches and donor funnels.
Blockchain startup. Owned multi-channel marketing end to end. Digital, content, paid, and a ton of market research into a category that barely existed yet. Translated technical product into something actual people could actually care about.
Full web redevelopment and digital marketing planning across a hospitality group's venues in Northeast Ohio. Built campaigns for each venue's distinct audience while holding the whole brand portfolio together.
Built the marketing funnel and social media operation for a statewide political party. Ran outreach, recruited volunteers, and turned the party's ideas into messaging that traveled.
Ran small-dollar donor fundraising and digital communications for a political advocacy org. Email, social, landing pages, the full donor journey, all of it measured.
Short stint working on film production, SEO, and paid search for a major airline brand. Got to see up close how a very, very big marketing machine actually runs, and what still comes down to a person making a call.
